Seven Heart Mini Quilts To Make

Valentines Day is almost upon us and here I have put together a few of my favourite Heart Mini Quilts, all free patterns. Most of them can be made with your fabric scraps and include any of your favourite colours you have to hand.

This is my version of the True Love Mini Quilt. I've used fabrics from Art Gallery and Dashwood and a pale pink mottled fabric from my stash for the background. I used the fancy heart stitch on my machine as an accent to the project.

Little Birdie Pin Cushion

This past weekend Hazel had a very special birthday which we celebrated with a tea party at her home with her husband and son, and her friend Sara. As Hazel and I both love sewing we usually make something as part of our gifts for each other.
I found this gorgeous Little Birdie by Sharon Holland featured in the Look Book for my next month's Fabulous sewing club boxes, shameless promotion!

I chose to use one of the fabrics which will be featured in this month January's sewing club box and a fabric from the website.

Latest make from AGF Fabrics

Hello, and welcome to my latest make!

Check out the website for the newly listed Meriwether range by AGF Studio, which means 'happy weather' in Middle English. The range features colourful blooms, curious rabbits and dancing June Bugs! Click the Look Book below to see all the wonderful projects you can download and make.

This month I made the Seed Bag which is a free pattern found on page 8. I used the four fabrics we have in stock on the website, my favourite has to be the Cottontail Playful rabbits.
The finished size is 32cm W x 29cm H and would be really useful to keep your ongoing craft, knitting or sewing projects in.

Hope you enjoy this project and don't forget to share your makes on our Facebook page.
